Typical fitting time is 30-60 minutes and we rate this repair as moderate. You will need precision screwdrivers, a heat pad or hairdryer, suction cup, plastic picks, opening tweezers and fresh frame adhesive.

Before you start: Transfer the earpiece mesh, sensor bracket and any Face ID flex from your old screen, these are not included and Face ID will stop working if the original flex is damaged. On recent iPhones, replacing the display with a non-original panel can disable True Tone and show a 'genuine part' notice in Settings.

Not confident doing it yourself? Bring the device to the LRO counter at 14 Electric Avenue, Brixton SW9 8JX and we will fit it for you. Most common repairs are done while you wait.
