We want anyone to be able to find and buy a part here, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard only, or a magnifier.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the focused item is always visibly outlined.
- Text and controls are checked against the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast minimum.
- Product images carry descriptive alt text naming the part and the device.
- The device finder, filters, tabs and basket all work with JavaScript switched off.
- Animation is reduced automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Headings, lists and landmarks are marked up properly so a screen reader can navigate.
Where we know we fall short
Some product photographs come from suppliers and vary in quality. Some older product descriptions are denser than we would like. We are working through both.
